Artist Statement
My expansive painting and sculpture practice examines the various ways boundaries govern human experience. Whether spatial, technological or psychological, boundaries manifest as both tangible and invisible architectures. Using materials such as concrete and tennis court paint, which are traditionally associated with containment and demarcation, I interrogate how these systems operate. By fragmenting and abstracting boundary forms, I propose new intersections where structure meets feeling.
